{"id":5805,"date":"2023-09-04T03:39:09","date_gmt":"2023-09-04T03:39:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cm.vastapps.dev\/tcia-analysis-result\/qiba-volct-1b\/"},"modified":"2023-09-13T12:11:33","modified_gmt":"2023-09-13T12:11:33","slug":"qiba-volct-1b","status":"publish","type":"tcia_analysis_result","link":"https:\/\/cm.vastapps.dev\/tcia-analysis-result\/qiba-volct-1b\/","title":{"rendered":"QIBA-VOLCT-1B"},"featured_media":0,"template":"","cancer_types":["Lung"],"citations":[4828,4829,2925],"full_export":"<h1 id=\"QIBAVolCTGroup1BRound2NoChangeSizeMeasurements(QIBAVolCT1B)-Summary\">Summary<\/h1><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);text-decoration: none;\"><strong>PURPOSE:<\/strong> To determine the variability of lesion size measurements in<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>computed tomography<span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);text-decoration: none;\"><span>\u00a0<\/span>data sets of patients imaged under a \u201cno change\u201d (\u201ccoffee break\u201d) condition and to determine the impact of two reading paradigms on measurement variability. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);text-decoration: none;\"><strong>METHOD AND MATERIALS:<\/strong> Using data sets from 32<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.7937\/K9\/TCIA.2015.U1X8A5NR\" class=\"external-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">RIDER Lung CT<\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);text-decoration: none;\"> patients and 8 <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.7937\/m87f-mz83\" class=\"external-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">RIDER Pilot<\/a> patients scanned twice within 15 minutes (\u201cno change\u201d), measurements were performed by five radiologists in two phases: (1) independent reading of each computed tomography dataset (timepoint): (2) a locked, sequential reading of datasets. Readers performed measurements using several sizing methods, including one-dimensional (1D) longest in-slice dimension and 3D semi-automated segmented volume. Change in size was estimated by comparing measurements performed on both timepoints for the same lesion, for each reader and each measurement method. Readers performed measurements using several sizing methods, including one-dimensional (1D) longest in-slice dimension and 3D semi-automated segmented volume. Change in size was estimated by comparing measurements performed on both timepoints for the same lesion, for each reader and each measurement method.
